IBPS CWE Clerk
Every year IBPS issues the notification for the recruitment of Clerks for which written examination is held in the month of November or December. The minimum educational qualification required for this post is Graduation and the candidates must lie between 20-28 years in age to fit in the eligibility criteria. Selection for this post is done through Preliminary and Mains Online Common Written Examination and interview.
Written Examinations are conducted online through different examination centers across the nation. The question paper of Prelinary examination consists English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability sections and Mains question paper comprises 5 sections namely Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, English language, Computer and General Awareness. Preliminary examination comprises of 100 marks and Mains examination comprises of 200 marks. They have to finish the preliminary examination in one hour while for mains examination they are given 2 hrs and 15 minutes. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks are deducted from the total.
IBPS CWE PO
For being eligible for the post of PO candidates must be between 20-30 years in age. They should possess Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Recruitment for this post is done through Preliminary Written Examination, Mains Written Examination and interview. Preliminary examination consists 100 questions from the section English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability, which candidates have to complete in one hour. Mains examination consists of 200 questions from the section Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, English Language, Computer and General Awareness and the candidates have to perform all of these in 2 hours and 20 minutes. Apart from this for IBPS PO a descriptive examination is also held which contains essay writing, english compositions, letter writing, etc. of 25 marks.
Application Procedure:
Candidates, who want to apply for these posts can apply through online mode through the website www.ibps.in. They have to pay an application amount of Rs. 600/- through bank challan or online mode. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- as the application amount.
Preparation Strategy:
- Go through the examination preparation and syllabus before starting preparing for the test.
- Divide your time as per your proficiency in the subject.
- They should follow a strict time table to prepare well for the examination.
- Keep some time away for revision.
