Job Profile of SBI Clerk:

A few changes have been made by SBI in the examination pattern of SBI Clerk this year. Now this exam is called SBI Junior Associate Examination. The recruitment for the post is done through Preliminary and Mains examination.

Job Profile of IBPS Clerk:

The recruitment of the candidates for the post of IBPS clerk is done through written examination. The selection of the candidates depends upon their performance in the main examination. The job roles of the IBPS clerk is same as that of the SBI clerk:

Pay Scale Comparison:

The basic factor, which attracts the candidates towards a specific job is the salary structure related to that job. However, in these two jobs salary structure, would not matter much to the candidates. The reason being the salary structure is almost the same in both the jobs. The pay scale is given below:

Rs. 11,765 is the Basic Pay
Rs. 655 depicts the fixed increment and is given for consecutive 3 years annually that takes the basic to 13730 and scales up the designation as well

Perks and Allowances are as follows:

  • Dearness Allowance (39.4% of Basic)
  • Special Allowance (7.5% for Clerks)
  • HRA depending upon the City (7-9% of the Basic)
