Psychometric test are an essential part of banking examinations now-a-days as we have observed the same in the IBPS examination last year. This test is now also included in BOBManipal School of Banking. When you appear in these examinations then you have to answer these questions as per your own opinion. This test is taken to check the psychology of the candidates to work in the bank in future. There is particularly no wrong and right answer in this test. In this article we are going to discuss I detail the psychometric tests through which you will be able to understand the meaning of the test, conducting body, etc.
Before going into details of this test, we are going to discuss the logic behind conducting this examination. This test is conducted to check the psychological suitability of the candidates for banking jobs. In this test, the candidates have to answer the questions based on situations and some solutions for that situation are offered and the candidates have to choose one from them. On the basis of your responses your ability for the post will be judged.
Be Yourself: This is one of the most essential thing while you attempt psychometric test as this is a logic based test. You must answer the questions as per your thinking not by thinking that what impression it will create on the examiners.
Do Not Over Think: You don't need to over-think the answer as you have to answer the question quickly genuinely. So, you need to follow this approach all through the test to get good good marks in it. And if you come to meet somebody contradicting your answers then your marks will be poor in the examination.
Attempt all Questions: You should attempt all the questions in the examination as the answers will be examined on the basis of all the questions attempted by you. So, just be yourself and attempt all the questions as per your thinking.
Do Not Think About the Result: Your job is just to answer the questions as per your thinking and not of impressing the examiner. So, just focus on the question and think wisely before attempting it.
Be Honest: You need to be really honest while attempting the question. The examiners will get to know about real you through your answers. So, be honest and answer the questions wisely.
