Institute of Banking Personnel Selection IBPS) is an agency which recruits staff for several nationalized banks, which come under its ambit. It came into operation in the year 1975, as a personnel selection agency for public sector banks. It recruits staff by conducting two common written tests and personal interview. If a candidate want to get an employment with any of the 29 public sector banks, then they must have to clear common written test and personal interview. They have to work very hard to crack these examinations.

The written examination is conducted by IBPS through various examination centers all across the nation through online mode. The agency organizes exams for the post of Specialist Officers, Probationary Officers and Clerks. The syllabus for different examinations conducted by IBPS is different. In this section, the questions are based on basic grammar, logic, vocabulary and comprehension skills. So, if one has the command over these topics, then he or she can surely clear this section and can score higher marks. Further, aspirant does not have to do any sort of calculations in this subject, which helps in saving time for other sections of the paper.
