Last Minute Tips for IBPS Preliminary Examination

Through this article, we are going to suggest some tips for the last minute preparation of the examination.

Look at all the Sections first: In every examination there are some easy, difficult and moderately difficult questions. To crack the examination it is important for the candidates to spot the easy questions and solve them first. No candidate is able to attempt all the questions given in the examination within the stipulated time period. So, it is important for them to focus on accuracy rather than on quantity. The key to crack the paper is to select the right question to attempt.

Revise Formulas and Concepts:

Candidates are advised to keep on revising all the formulas, rules and concept regularly before examination. They should revise basic grammar rules, shortcuts etc. before the examination.

Pay Attention to Sectional Cut-Off:

This results in the elimination of a lot of candidates. No candidate is a champion in each and every section of the paper. So, in the sections which you are not master in just try to score decent marks and in the sections in which you are champion in, candidates should fetch as much marks as much they can. To crack the examination this is necessary to crack the sectional cut-off.

Avoid Using Short Cuts, Which You have not Practiced Much:

Candidates must not use shortcuts, which they have learnt just before the examination and have not practiced much. If you are not sure any particular question, then you just not need to attempt that question. May be it seems right to you in the examination hall but later on it may result in increase in the number of wrong questions attempted by you resulting in deduction of marks. There is a provision of negative marking in the examination for the every wrong answer attempted by the candidate 0.25 marks get deducted from the total.

Do Not Much Time on a Single Question:

Candidates must not devote much time to a particular if they find themselves stuck in a particular question. If they find themselves stuck at any question, they must leave it and move to the other one.

Cross Check the Options:

Sometimes candidates may get the answer of the question easily only by looking at the options. So, they must check the options as it may result in saving of time.

Stay Confident:

Self confidence is the key to success, so candidates must stay confident while performing the questions. By remaining confident candidates have already won the half battle. They must keep faith on their preparation.

Don't Feel Panic:

Aspirants need to keep themselves while appearing in the examination and should not feel panic about anything.
