Time Limit for Each Section in SBI Clerk Mains Examination

State Bank of India, the largest commercial of the country is going to hold the mains online examination for the recruitment of assistant on 25th and 26th June. SBI has set new pattern of examination by introducing sectional time limit. From this year candidates will be given limited time to complete each section. So, candidates now have to prepare accordingly for the test. As SBI is the largest lender, the competition to get the job in this bank is really tough. So, candidates need to study really hard to crack the recruitment procedure of the bank. To help the candidates in preparing well for the test, we are discussing in detail the examination pattern of the SBI Clerk Test.

As per the latest notification issued by the bank, the recruitment in the assistant cadre will be done in three stages Prelims, Mains and Interview. For the final selection, the marks obtained by the candidates in the Mains Examination and Interview. Put simply the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Mains exam and interview. Everybody is surprised by the new pattern for the main exam introduced by the bank.

Same Topics:

The paper will contain sections like English Language, General or Financial Awareness, Computer Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.

Less No. of Questions:

The test will contain overall 190 questions, which were previously numbered 200. General/Financial Awareness will contain 50 questions, General English will comprise 40 questions, Quantitative Aptitude will have 50 questions, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude will contain 50 questions.

Different Marking Scheme for Each Section:

Questions from each section are not going to carry the same marks as per the new pattern. In English Section each question will be of 1 mark, while questions from Reasoning and Computer ability section will be of 1.2 mark.

More Total Time:

Now will get 40 more minutes to answer 10 less questions than before. Now you will be getting 2 hours 40 minutes in which you have to attempt 190 questions, while previously you had to attempt 200 questions in 2 hours.
