A lot of changes has been introduced by the Staff Selection Commission in the examination pattern of Combined Graduate Level Examination for 2016. The most important change made by the commission in the test pattern is to conduct it online from 2016. This has been done to make the examination more transparent and free from any sort of bias. This will keep the malpractices, which could be done in the offline tests in check. Now the recruitment of the candidates for several posts offered by the SSC will be done through Two Tier Online Test namely Preliminary and Mains Examination. There will be no interview conducted for the recruitment of the aspirants.

Every year lakhs of candidates take the test in order to get selected for the posts offered by the SSC. One descriptive type test has been also included in the examination pattern. Through SSC CGL test the candidates are selected for several middle level posts of Central Government like Inspectors in Income Tax Department and Assistants in Intelligence Bureau. This will also be fairer as there will be minimal human intervention in the test. Online tests are considered more transparent in handling the process related to the examination.

Reduced Administrative Work:

This will reduce the administrative work as well. There will be no requirement of humans to check the answer scripts. There will be no chances of any mistakes in the correction. The result will be declared early due to less human inclusion.

Less Errors:

One-minute mistake in the checking can spoil the career of a candidate. But now there will be less chances of errors as human interference will be less.

Results will be Declared Fast:

Earlier candidates have to wait for long to get the result of the examination. But now due to the online examination the results will be declared fast and will be accurate. Candidates had to wait for almost a year to get their result and joining, which used to be quiet frustrating. But now candidates will get fast results and joining.

No Experience of Conducting Online Examination:
