Aspirants can read the recruitment notifications of the government in newspapers and on internet. But many students are unaware of the jobs that they can get in the public department after 10th. Government Departments that Offer Jobs after 10th:

There are many govt. departments that provide jobs to the candidates after matriculation. Some departments are Defense, Railways, Police, Staff Selection Commission, Bank and State Departments. Jobs provided by these departments are very attractive in terms of salary, perks and satisfaction.

Jobs in Railways after 10^th:

Indian railway is seventh largest utility and commercial employer in India; Indian Railways has a workforce of approx. 1.4 million employees. It offers employment to the people from different educational background including 10th pass outs. Railways offer positions under the Group C & D to the candidates who have completed matric. Some of the jobs under these groups are welder, fitter, act apprentice, carpenter, maintainers, technician Gr-III and others.

Jobs in Banking Sector:

Banking sector is another largest sector that offers jobs to thousands of candidates every year. It offers job positions like sweeper, multi-tasking staff, peon and other low positions to the candidates, who have completed 10^th education.

Defense Sector Jobs:

Defense sector encompasses Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. Entry level positions are offered by these three departments to the matric pass students. Some of the positions that are offered by these are of machinists, carpenters, multitasking staff, tradesmen, welder, cooks, painters, tailors and many others.

Staff Selection Commission Jobs:

Most recruitment agency of India is the Staff Selection Commission. Thousand of vacancies are released by SSC every year for recruiting the staff in different departments of the central government. It is authorized for the recruitment and training of the candidates in the various departments and ministries of the government. SSC holds CHSL exam annually for recruiting the candidates for entry level. Aspirants are hired for the post of data entry multitasking staff , operator, lower division clerks, etc.

Police Jobs:

Police Force offers several vacancies for 10^th pass students. However, senior positions like Superintendent of Police, Sub-Inspector, Inspector, Assistant Superintendent of Police, etc. are offered after graduation. But positions like head constables, constables, etc. are offered to the candidates who have passed matric.

State Government Jobs:

State governments are also organizes recruitment board to recruit candidates for several departments. State Government holds several posts for the candidates, who have passed 10^th. Every year it announces thousands of vacancies for which minimum education required is 10^th candidates. It recruits candidates for lower posts like clerk, multi-tasking staff, assistant foreman, patwari, etc., who have completed 10th.
