Most Promising Recruitment Exams for Government Jobs

In last few years, the craze for Government Jobs among the youngsters has increased manifolds. The reason being, they find these jobs more secured, stress free and financially promising. After completing matriculation or graduation, most of the students join the bandwagon of Public Sector Jobs and prepare for the recruitment process like written examination, group discussion and personal interview, which is followed for selecting the candidates. Every year a number of exams are conducted by the state govt. and central govt. for recruiting the personnel in different departments. Below, we are giving a brief list of examinations, through which selection of the candidates is done in the public sector.

IBPS PO: This is conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, for the selection of Probationary Officers in several Public Sector Banks. This is one of the most reputed examinations of Banking Sector, due to which millions of aspirants take part in this each and every time. Recruitment in this is done by analyzing the performance of the candidates in online written test and personal interview.

SBI PO: State Bank of India, one of the most trusted banks of India conducts a separate test for recruiting its staff members. It organizes an online test, group discussion and personal interview annually for recruiting its personnel.

IBPS Specialist Officer: Conducted annually by the Institute of Banking Personnel, through this test public sector banks recruit Specialist Officers for its different departments like marketing, IT, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Agriculture, Human Resources, etc.

SSC CGL: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is authorized to select employees in different departments of different Ministries of the Govt. of India. SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Test is one of the biggest tests conducted by SSC every year for Group B and Group C vacancies like Assistant In Mea, Examiner, Preventive Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Sub Inspector In CBI, Auditor, Central Excise Inspector, etc.

RBI Grade B: This is an open competitive test, which is organized by Reserve Bank of India, for the selection of entry level officers.

LIC AAO: Life Insurance Corporation of India holds a competitive exam for recruiting Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO). This one of the most reputed, highest paying jobs and secured job in the Public Sector. Selected candidates have to take care of the administrative and financial matters of LIC.

UPSC Civil Services: Conducted by Central Govt. for recruiting IAS, IPS, ICAS, IFS and IRS, this exam is one of the most difficult competitive examinations, which requires a lot of hard work and determination. It can only be cracked through proper planning, hard work and intelligence.

IBPS and SBI Clerk: Held annually by Institute of Banking Personnel and State Bank of India for the recruitment of candidates for the post of clerks, this is one of the renowned tests. Its selection process involves a Preliminary Written Test, Main Written Test and Personal Interview.

Indian Railways: For the selection of aspirants for several Technical and Non Technical Posts, Indian Railways holds competitive tests every year. Through this test it selects candidates for the post of SSE, Traffic Assistant, JE, etc.
