Profile and Salary Package of Bank PO and SSC CGL Jobs

After the 10th bipartite agreement, the salary of a Bank PO has risen up to Rs. 40,000- 50,000/- p.m, which is very much higher than the salary of excise inspector or income tax officer. Being a PO the employee get high salary package and lucrative career growth options. Being a PO, aspirants are also not transferred frequently. They also can get posted in the nearby branch of their hometown, but in the case of SSC jobs chances of getting transferred near to the hometown is quite low.

Transfer and Promotion Policy of SSC CGL Jobs and Bank PO

Candidates are transferred across the country at regular intervals during their service period. In SSC jobs the fast track promotion policy is also missing which is enjoyed by bank PO. Avenues for getting promoted to higher posts are relatively less in SSC jobs in comparison to Bank jobs. After completing 3-4 years in the service the candidates can get promoted to managerial post in the bank. However, bank jobs have no match of the social status and respect, which are attached with SSC CGL jobs. Bank Pos are put on the probation period of two years, which is not the case with SSC jobs.
