If you do not find yourself comfortable with the shortcuts, then you don't need to go for them. Better is that you prepare the longer and simple methods and try to solve questions by using them in less time.
Once you prepare the whole syllabus, you need to revise each topic later on. For the revision purpose, you should go chapter wise and solve questions from the mock tests and pratice sets based on these topics.
The mantra to crack this section is to do constant practice. Candidates need to practice more and more questions in order to gain proficiency over the subject.
Aspirants are advised to practice what they have already studied and master those topics. They should not try to start preparing for any new topics before the examination. This can affect overall preparation of the examination.
Candidates should do practice of doing calculations in mind quickly as this will save a lot of time during the examination. So, candidates should try to inculcate this habit to score more marks.
Candidates must take online mock tests as this will give them a fair idea of the pressure they are going to face during the exam. They should practice the questions by keeping a stop watch by their side. Through this they will be able to gain speed and accuracy over the subject. This will boost their confidence as well.
