Difference between the Scope of SSC CGL and MBA after Graduation

Both MBA and SSC CGL have the difference in terms of job profile, scope, job security and salary structure, etc. MBA is a professional course to be pursued after graduation by the candidates and is of 2 years in duration. It can be pursued in the domains like Finance & Marketing, HR, stock, etc. One must possess good communication skills in order to get a good job through MBA. On the other hand SSC CGL offers a career in the government sector with good salary and different power. It is one of the most prestigious careers pursued by the candidates in India.

Several perspectives are there in the mind of the candidates about SSC CGL and professional studies. People think that there are several differences between SSC CGL and other careers. But it is not so.

Investment and Expenses:

SSC CGL does not need any investment other than application fees and travelling expenditure whereas, if a candidate pursues MBA then it needs about 10-15 lakhs of investment. Finally, after the candidates are done with MBA then they get annual package between 6-8 lakhs and in case of SSC CGL one will get almost the same package. Job stability and social reputation attached with the job offered through SSC CGL makes it more lucrative. It can also be seen that most of the MBA's go for the preparation of SSC and IAS.

Job Profile:

If you have pursued MBA from a reputed college like IIM and other top 10 colleges then you will get higher salary and job post. Several opportunities are offered to the candidates of going abroad in their career time. While the candidates do not get such opportunities through SSC CGL as the SSC CGL recruits the candidates for serving the country. But through SSC candidates can get balanced work life and family life. In MBA the candidates face so much work pressure and it makes it difficult to manage work life and family life together.

Social Aspect:

Working for the ministry and departments of government as an Officer, make you feel proud as it offers you a chance of serving the country. No inferiority and superiority complex is there in the environment. When you work for MNC, your services are only entitled for the profit of the company. In case if the candidates are not able to meet targets then they are charged in any form as per the norms of the company. Hence, you will always be working under an authority and you will not have the superior decision making power in your hands.

May be you will be getting Rs. 1,00,000 salary per month by pursuing MBA but still you will not get a balanced work life and family through it as there is a lot work pressure.
