Staff Selection Commission recruits candidates for several departments of ministries under Central Government. Recruitment is done by the commission for different departments and for different profiles, therefore it needs different skills in part of the candidates to get recruited for the desired post. There is a lot of competition for these posts through SSC. The commission offers jobs only to those candidates, who have completed 10+2 and Graduation from reputed boards/universities/colleges. This is one of the section, which has a lot of syllabus to cover and requires intensive preparation. To gain proficiency over this paper, the candidates need to devote at least 2 hours a day to the preparation of this subject.

Quantitative Aptitude:

This is a tricky paper and requires lot of efforts to be mastered. It is a really time consuming section and in order to get completed within the given time, candidates need to practice this section a lot. They should devote at least 2-3 hours a day to prepare this section.

English Language:

English Language Skills, comprehension skills, vocabulary, etc. are tested through this section in the examination. For preparing this section, candidates need to devote 1-2 hours daily for its preparation.

General Awareness:

This section is really vast and needs more time to get covered. Aspirants need to read newspaper daily and should pay attention to the news of national importance. One should spend at least one hour a day to this subject.
