Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts written examination for Graduate, Higher Secondary and Specialist Posts. The examination comprises Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language sections. Logical reasoning is the part of the section of General Intelligence and Reasoning. In order to achieve perfection, aspirants need to solve different sort of problems. This section analyzes the decision making power of the aspirants and in how much time they reach to a conclusion. It tests the spontaneity of the aspirants in complex situations. It prepares the candidates for making right decisions in a limited time frame. This in turn prepares the candidates for facing the challenges of life as well. Selecting the answers from the given identical answers and the derivations which the candidates have to do in reaching to a conclusion, also denotes their intelligence and thinking power.
As this one of the most important and scoring section of the examination, it needs proper practice and good thinking capacity to crack this section. As candidates have to manage the time during the actual examination, they must not devote much time in solving the same question. The only way of handling this section well is good preparation and concentration. They should keep a stop watch by their side while solving the questions, this will in turn increase their speed of solving questions and will also boost up their confidence.
